Submerged shipping containers is a thread that occassionally takes place in Scuttlebutt, usually after a racing boat hits one (with typically disasterous results). While it seems unlikely that ships would lose the containers they are carrying, this photo submitted by Ray Tostado shows how bad the situation can get.
