New Zealand's Ross Field and his son Campbell are best known for their individual exploits in the Volvo Ocean Race, but they have now teamed up to compete in the double-handed, Global Ocean Race 2011-12 (GOR).
Beginning in Mallorca, Spain on September 25th, ten doublehanded Class40 teams will start the five-leg circumnavigation race. And while the Fields are short on Class40 sailing time, they are extremely long in the experience needed for this type of contest.
