AUS wins Youth Match Racing Worlds

Twelve teams competed in the 2024 Youth Match Racing World Championship was held November 29-December 2 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Using FarEast 28 keelboats, the winner was Australia’s Cole Tapper with crew Hamish Vass, Jack Frewin, Joel Beashel, and Chelsea Williams. After Tapper was second in the round robin qualifying stage to Ange Delerce (FRA), the Aussies went on to shut out their opponents in the knock out rounds, beating Delerce 3-0 in the finals.
