Published on October 21st, 2024
World Sailing has revealed the finalists for the 2024 male and female Rolex World Sailor of the Year, male and female Young World Sailor of the Year, 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award, World Sailing Technology Award and Team of the Year.
Two new awards will make their debut this year with the male and female Young World Sailor of the Year celebrating the rising stars of our sport while the Boat of the Year award has been renamed as the World Sailing Technology Award to recognize the wider work on innovations in sailing.
An 11-person panel selected the finalists, and after stating how a public vote would decide the winners, World Sailing now reports how the public vote will make up 50% of the final decisions with 50% contributed by World Sailing’s expert panel.
Voting for all World Sailing Awards is open until 23:00 GMT on October 27, 2024. To vote, click here.
