More than just the America’s Cup voice

I am worried. My fear is that one of the people I enjoy sailing with may be getting too popular. What changed? The internet shared how Melanie Roberts makes wicked good cookies.

I do sort of dread that she brings them, as I strive to avoid sweets. However, I have a weakness for anything in front of me, and she makes the healthiest, naughtiest cookies. I am helpless, and worse, she leaves the leftovers.

It was okay for people to know her voice, as she is the person who announces on the America’s Cup broadcast whether the wind limit had been met, and she is a key member of the race management team. But the release of a video by the Kiwi media STUFF reveals how her baking skills are also an integral feature of the event.
