Recruiting for development program

Published on June 20th, 2024

US Sailing’s new Olympic Development Program Manager, Rosie Chapman, is inviting all who are interested in Olympic Development (ODP) to submit their interest to enter the database for upcoming clinics and camps. Even if athletes have been in touch in the past, all are encouraged to submit interest.

What is ODP?
Athletes are in the Olympic Development category if they’re over 19 years old, pursuing the Olympics, currently sailing Olympic classes or are ready to transition out of youth classes, and have not yet qualified for the US Sailing Team.*

What is the deadline?
There is no deadline for the form, but with upcoming camps and clinics on the horizon, athletes are encouraged to submit their interest as soon as possible to get on the ODP radar.

If you’re an athlete under 19 years old and sail the below classes, reach out to Phil Muller (philmuller@ussailing.org) and US Sailing’s Youth Department (youth@ussailing.org) for more information on Youth classes and preparation for Olympic Development and the US Sailing Team.
