Field set for College Fleet Race Nationals
Published on April 30th, 2024
The selections have been made for the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) 2024 Open and Women’s Fleet Race National Championships to be hosted by Harvard and MIT in Boston, MA. The Women’s Fleet Race National Championship will be held May 20-23, followed by the Open Fleet Race National Championship on May 24-27.
Beyond the teams receiving automatic qualification from Conference Championships, the Selection Committees are charged with selecting the most competitive field of At-Large Teams for the National Championships. To be eligible, teams must have regional or cross-regional status, and must have competed in at least one ICSA regatta in the corresponding discipline. Selectors shall consider exemplary performance throughout the season in that discipline, and shall not consider geographic diversity, or a team’s record in any discipline in previous years.
