Tartan Yachts adapts to changes in boating needs

The Ohio-based Tartan Yachts, builder of top-quality monohull sailboats for nearly 50 years, has announced plans to venture into building catamarans and powerboats. Partnering with designers Morrelli & Melvin and budding catamaran developer Indikon Boat Works, a 44-foot catamaran will come as either a motorsailer or power cat.
