Olympic regatta format

As ISAF observes the performance of the new regatta format at the ISAF Sailing World Cup (as mentioned in Scuttlebutt 3792), I sincerely hope that they keep an eye on the potential dominance of the starting position on the end results. Too often, in short races, success on the starting line provides an insurmountable lead. If that is the case here, it could lead to sailing being one of the least entertaining viewing experiences of the Olympics, something we surely do NOT need.
